Refund policy
All Sales Are Final on Sealed Product & Pre-Orders
Due to the volatile nature of the collectibles market and the risk of product tampering (such as pack weighing or resealing), we enforce a strict finality policy:
- Sealed Trading Card Products: All booster boxes, elite trainer boxes, collection boxes, booster packs, blister packs, and Japanese/imported card products are 100% non-returnable and non-refundable once they leave our facility.
- Pre-Orders: As stated at checkout, all pre-order items lock in financial allocations with our overseas suppliers and cannot be returned, exchanged, or canceled.
Ineligibility for Exterior Cosmetic Wear
- Mint Packaging Disclaimer: We do not guarantee "mint condition" exterior retail packaging.
- Cosmetic Imperfections: Factory shrink-wrap tears, scuffs, minor creases, or dented corners on booster boxes or retail packaging are common during international transit.
- Exclusion from Returns: Because these minor outer flaws do not impact the usability or condition of the sealed internal contents, items with minor exterior cosmetic imperfections are completely excluded from being classified as damaged, defective, or incorrect. No returns, replacements, or store credits will be issued for packaging wear.
Exceptions for Wrong or Genuinely Damaged Items
We will only accept returns or issue replacements if we sent you the wrong item, or if the internal contents are fundamentally compromised (e.g., a crushed box where individual booster packs inside are torn open).
- Reporting Window: You must report the issue to returns@minicollects.com within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp shown on your tracking number.
- Required Proof: You must provide clear video evidence of the shipping box, the item packaging, and the damaged contents. (See
- Condition of Return: If a return is authorized by our team, the item must be returned in the exact condition you received it. If you open the factory shrink-wrap or security seal of a wrong or damaged item, it immediately becomes ineligible for a return or refund.
Mandatory Opened-Box Video Inspection Requirement
Verification Protocol: Due to an increase in fraudulent claims in the trading card community (such as "missing booster box" or "empty shipping box" scams), MiNi Collects requires a continuous, unedited video recording of the package being opened to validate any claims of shortages, incorrect items, or severe transit damage.
Video Criteria: To be accepted as valid proof, your video must meet the following strict conditions:
- Completely Unedited: The video must be a single, continuous shot with no cuts, edits, pauses, or digital alterations.
- Visible Shipping Label: The video must begin by clearly showing the shipping label on the unopened box, ensuring the tracking number and name are fully legible.
- All Sides Shown: You must show all sides of the shipping box before opening it to prove the factory tape or box seals have not been tampered with or previously cut.
- Clear View of Unboxing: The entire unboxing process—from breaking the tape to pulling the items out of the packaging—must remain completely inside the camera frame.
Consequence of Non-Compliance: If you report that an item was missing from your order, that you received the wrong item, or that contents arrived severely damaged, but you fail to provide a qualifying, unedited unboxing video, your claim will be immediately denied. No exceptions will be made.
Unauthorized Returns & Tariff Abandonment
- Refused Deliveries: If you refuse a delivery from the shipping carrier to bypass our return policy, or if you refuse to pay government-mandated customs duties/tariffs on imported items, the package will be treated as an unauthorized return.
- Restocking Fees: All unauthorized returns that safely arrive back at our facility are strictly subject to a 20% restocking fee plus all applicable return freight charges, which will be deducted from any remaining refund balance.
- Destroyed Packages: If the local carrier destroys the package due to your non-payment of customs tariffs rather than returning it to us, no refund or store credit will be issued under any circumstances.
